So, I was a freelance radio producer for the BBC and World Service for a few years in London, in news and current affairs. I also wrote for the New Statesman and The Daily Beast. I then decided to try my luck in either the Mediterranean or the Middle East but I couldn’t decide so I came to Lebanon. It’s not all milk and honey but there is a lot of shawarma and the men are good looking. While living it up and getting fat, I spent nearly two years as an editor at Time Out Beirut, then I joined the team at Wamda where I wrote, commissioned and edited stories on startups throughout the MENA region.

Now I’m moving onto what I’d like to call ‘Chapter 4 – Lucy makes a change’, and looking for a new role in corporate communications.
